The African Dream Casting and Plot
THE STORY
The story is a theatrical music and dance performance that centers around the
Journey of a little African girl with a great dream. The structure of the show is built on the universe she will experience on the path to realizing this vision. She symbolizes all the youth of Africa, and the following questions lead the show.
During intermissions the little girl returns to the middle of the stage, where narration continues, this narration tells her of the strength and super natural powers of her ancestors. The theatric show aims at visually displaying Africa's past, present and future. Technology, Climate Change, Solar Energy, and Connectivity will be the underlying subliminal themes of the performance.
The show will theatrically represent the different Parts of Africa, North, South,
East, and West, through a musical and dance show by Xander Pratt, this will act as the visual response to the questions asked by the little girl. The show will create a fusion of African sounds and performances.
